Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools to designated areas on-site
- Support welders with their tasks as directed
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely under supervision
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Help with site cleanup and waste removal to keep the work area organized and hazard-free
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and materials to ensure quality standards are met
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is a plus but training will be provided
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are key qualities for success in this role
