The aftercare teacher job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
All responsibilities are to be in line with the Catholic mission of the Parish, the school, and state licensing.
Monitor and manage students from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm
Prep and oversee afterschool snack
Support students in completing homework
Plan meaningful and engaging activities for students to participate in
Monitor and ensure the safety of students during all activities
Effectively communicate with families when students are picked up
Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technology as it pertains to enhancing student learning and communication among the school staff and families.
Be punctual and maintain consistent attendance.
Serve as a model of Catholic faith for the students and represent the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Family Handbook, Faculty Handbook, and Staff Handbook.
Serve this school in the position and in the specific duties assigned by the Principal/ Early Childhood Director. Established policies, rules and regulations expressed by the school and the Principal shall be part of the professional procedure together with the applicable rules and regulations of the Archdiocese of Denver and the School Handbook.

Minimum - No degree is required, however, hiring preference will be given to people with degrees, experience, and certifications that support this employment position.
