Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Team Member to join our staff at Schlotzsky's in Kerrville! As a Team Member you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in choosing menu items
- Take and process customer orders accurately
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Prepare food items following recipes and food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Assist in restocking inventory and supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating orders
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is advantageous
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Proficiency in operating a cash register
- Willingness to learn and adapt to fast-paced environments
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
