Blaire House of Milford Adult Day Health is seeking an energetic Program Aide / HHA to uphold our high standards for senior care! CNA pay is $20 per hour, HHA is $17.00.

Job Summary:
- Care for and assist residents in a maximum manner conducive to their safety and comfort and within limits defined by delegated tasks.
- Assist, supervise and/or provide for activities of resident's daily living, including but not limited to: assisting with meals, feeding residents, providing for residents' personal hygiene; assisting with and/or giving complete or partial tub and shower baths, back rubs, shampoos, and shaves; making beds; providing oral hygiene, including care of dentures; providing care of hair and providing morning and evening care.
- Possess and demonstrate ability to respond to residents' requests and calls, as well as changes in residents' conditions, including but not limited to emergencies and adverse reactions to treatment.
- Adhere to instruction issued by the Nurse/ Shift Supervisor and perform duties in accordance with established program's routines, methods, and techniques, and in compliance with the program's recognized policies, procedures, standards, and practices.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Ability to speak, read and write English. Ability to follow written and oral directions.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: No Adult Day Health Center experience is necessary-Will train the right candidate. Must participate annually in 12 hours of in-service training to maintain certification.
