The Lead Water Field Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and optimizing daily field operations for water service projects, including lead service line replacement, water sampling, inspections, maintenance, and customer appointments. This role serves as the primary liaison between field crews, customers, contractors, municipalities, and internal departments to ensure work is scheduled efficiently, completed on time, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting field personnel and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate utility installations with residents within the township and/or city where lead water replacement work is taking place.

Manage and obtain permits and ensure regulatory compliance.

Interact with contractors, field personnel, and municipalities as needed in a professional business manner on a regular basis, over the phone, via email, and in person.

Prevent construction delays by resolving conflicts.

Maintain accurate scheduling records, logs, and reports.

Analyze scheduling data and recommend improvements to processes and performance.

Work within the online interfaces of various utility locate one-call systems for the purpose of entering locate requests, refreshes, and no-shows.
- Safely drive a company vehicle.

Work to make Pipe Strong a significant competitor in the marketplace and improve its organization, process, workflow, profitability, and growth.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

3-5 years of scheduling, dispatching, project coordination, or operations experience.

Experience supporting field service, utility, construction, infrastructure, or water-related projects preferred.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.

Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or work management software.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.

Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

A driver's License and a good driving record are required.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with lead service line replacement programs or water utility operations.
