The Barback plays a critical support role in delivering the exceptional guest experience that defines Sinatra Bar & Lounge. Working alongside our bartenders, the Barback ensures the bar remains fully stocked, impeccably clean, and operating efficiently throughout service.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment, takes pride in organization, and is eager to learn the craft of bartending while supporting one of Nashville's premier cocktail programs.
- Stock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, juices, garnishes, glassware, ice, and bar supplies before, during, and after service.

Maintain appropriate par levels throughout each shift.

Prepare fresh garnishes, juices, syrups, and other mise en place according to Sinatra standards.

Restock satellite stations and storage areas as needed.

Change beer kegs and CO₂ tanks safely and efficiently.

Assist with receiving and organizing beverage deliveries.
- Support bartenders by anticipating their needs and responding quickly during service.

Remove used glassware and maintain clean workstations.

Wash, polish, and organize glassware throughout the shift.

Refill ice wells and maintain clean ice bins using proper sanitation procedures.

Keep bar equipment clean and in proper working condition.

Ensure bar tools are cleaned, organized, and readily available.
- Maintain a spotless bar throughout service.

Sweep, mop, sanitize, and organize all bar areas.

Empty trash and recycling as needed.

Keep storage rooms, coolers, and liquor rooms neat and organized.

Follow all sanitation, health department, and safety standards.
- Work closely with bartenders, servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Communicate inventory shortages immediately.

Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and special events as assigned.

Perform additional duties as directed by management.
- Previous restaurant or bar experience preferred but not required.
