Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and transaction management
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and sales totals
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, dining spaces, and food handling stations in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing trays, and ensuring a tidy environment for guests
- Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant setting while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive communication style
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
