Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Stylist to take a chair for our vibrant team and Modern salon. This leadership role is essential in fostering a creative, professional, and welcoming environment where clients receive top-tier hair, lashes and nail services. As an Independent Stylist your expertise will inspire excellence in hair styling, barbering, and retail sales, driving the success of our salon while maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding hair styling, barbering, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application services that exceed client expectations.
- Building a solid Clientle maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring proper sanitation protocols are followed
- Manage your client check-in/out, appointment bookings, and customer service interactions
- Maintain your inventory levels for hair products, tools, and retail items while promoting retail sales to enhance revenue streams.
- Support store duties as needed to ensure smooth salon operations and a cohesive team environment.
Skills
- Proven expertise in hair styling, barbering techniques including straight razor shaves and hair threading.
- Strong knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
- Deep understanding of color theory to assist clients with customized coloring services.
- Experience with eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and other beauty treatments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively mentor staff and engage with clients professionally.
- Ability to manage retail sales through upselling techniques while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices specific to cosmetology and barbering environments to ensure safety compliance.
