ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Meet or Exceed weekly sales goals for telephone solicitation, site inspections
Provide excellent, consistent, personal services to clients prior, during and with follow-up after each event
Personally, greet on-site contact to assure all needs and last-minute needs are met
Be current with all market related publications in order to stay on topo of all industry trends and uncover any potential leads.
Submit weekly and monthly booking reports in a time manner
Maintain all files with current trace dates, accurate histories and all relevant information regarding booking activity
Promote a high-quality company image by demonstrating professionalism to both clients and colleagues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, event planners, and corporate clients to drive repeat business
Create customized catering and event packages to meet client needs and ensure revenue targets are met

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree in hospitality management, business, marketing or a related field.

EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years of experience in catering/banquet sales or event planning in the hospitality industry.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license. Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Able Liquor License.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to maneuver in the casino and routinely lift up 25 pounds and occasionally as much as 60 pounds. Must be able to stand or walk for a minimum of 8 hours and maneuver in or outside the casino. Visual acuity to observe and react to handle internal and external customer complaints or questions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to bend, kneel, twist and stretch/reach above head. Have good dexterity in fingers

WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Work in casino operations containing second hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
