Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential settings, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential properties with precision and attention to detail
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify issues efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards, local electrical codes, and safety procedures
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations for various residential applications
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete electrical work on construction sites or renovation projects
- Diagnose complex electrical problems in residential systems and implement effective solutions promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on residential projects; industrial or commercial electrician experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately
- Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and industrial electrical systems
- Skilled in installing low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and high-voltage wiring where applicable
- Familiarity with construction site procedures, renovation projects, framing carpentry, and handyman tasks is preferred
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local jurisdiction; ongoing commitment to safety procedures and regulations
