Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role is vital in promoting positive behavior changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients through individualized support and care.
Duties
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques as outlined in individualized care plans.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and self-sufficiency.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, educators, and family members, to provide comprehensive support.
- Teach essential skills to clients using evidence-based strategies tailored to their unique needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and care plans, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health practices to support client care effectively.
- Engage in behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors in a constructive manner.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred or must be obtained within a specified timeframe after hiring.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and techniques is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of special education practices and patient care standards is beneficial.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines in all aspects of client interaction.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
