Service Technician
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues on equipment
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Inspect equipment to ensure proper performance
- Follow service procedures
- Document work performed, parts used and labor hours
- Communicate needs and timelines with the Service Manager
- Maintain a clean, organized and a safe work environment
- Stay current with training
- Other tasks as assigned by the Service Manager
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Mechanical degree and/or experience in agricultural service or repair is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read service manuals and diagnostic information
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds regularly
- Must be able to climb, bend, sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Must have a reputable driving history and a valid driver's license
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Good communication and computer skills is required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
