Bilingual Janitorial Team Lead/Supervisor - Restaurant Cleaning (Overnights)

About the Role
We are a professional cleaning company specializing in restaurant cleaning, and we are expanding across the New York metro area. We are seeking an experienced Janitorial Team Lead / Supervisor to oversee overnight operations while supporting occasional daytime activities.
This role is primarily overnight, with some daytime responsibilities including client walk-throughs and limited sales support (training and leads provided).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside cleaning teams across multiple client sites
- Perform hands-on cleaning to ensure all standards and timelines are met
- Plan and coordinate nightly work assignments for optimal efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company safety, security, and quality standards (PPE required)
- Manage inventory and request supplies/equipment as needed
- Track attendance and report performance issues to management
- Serve as the primary liaison between staff, management, and clients
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and scheduling requirements
Cleaning Duties May Include
Commercial Kitchen Cleaning:
- Clean kitchen equipment, floors, and walls
- Vacuum, rinse, and wipe down shelves, handles, and surfaces
- Polish stainless steel and metal surfaces
- Maintain kitchens to Grade “A” cleanliness standards
Front-of-House Cleaning:
- Clean and disinfect restrooms
- Remove and dispose of trash in designated areas
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Dust fixtures, lighting, windowsills, and surfaces
- Clean and polish metal fixtures and hardware
- Follow all company policies, safety practices, and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
- Strong work ethic with ability to work overnight shifts
- Prior commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Previous supervisory experience in janitorial or facilities services a plus
- Floor care experience (including stripping and waxing) is a plus
Schedule
- Primary: Overnight shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM; hours may vary)
- Occasional daytime or evening availability required for client walk-throughs
