Job Overview
Preferred Transportation Solutions is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing transportation company. In this role you will be asked to create trucking routes, manage staff, cost effectively manage daily operations while meeting customer needs and oversee daily terminal operations.
Responsibilities

Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day

Monitor and adjust to any sudden route change needs and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries

Monitor operations to ensure drivers comply with both company and customer policies, DOT regulations and procedures, safety rules, and federal and state transportation regulations

Manage truck maintenance schedule
- Maintain professional relationships with customers

Track daily revenues and expenses
- Oversee daily rail operations
