Responsibilities: Responsible for removing currency and chips from gaming machines and table games nightly, counting all monies and complete all required paperwork accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner before transferring to YGA Banker, operating bill counters, computers, calculators and adding machines, sorting, bagging, wrapping, bundling and depositing monies according to Casino requirements, and performing routine cleaning and maintenance on drop equipment.
Requirements: Must be 18 years or older to apply. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to the Tribal/Gaming’s Drug and Alcohol policy. Must adhere to all Tribal/Gaming Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong orientation to excellent guest service. Must be self-reliant and capable of working independently as appropriate or necessary. Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be insurable under the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe's auto insurance carrier. Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have basic understanding of accounting and/or bookkepping. Must be able to periodically push and pull drop cart while bending and squatting during drop.
Preferred Requirements: Six months Casino experience and familiarity with relevant money handling equipment.
Full-time, benefited position, starting rate $13.50-$17.96. Must pass a background security check prior to and during the course of employment. Open until filled.
