Duties
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Conduct route driving to visit clients, deliver products, or perform merchandising tasks efficiently and safely
- Utilize strong communication skills to explain product features, pricing options, and upselling opportunities effectively
- Manage pricing strategies to ensure competitive offers while maximizing sales revenue
- Perform heavy lifting when handling merchandise or equipment during deliveries or stock replenishment
- Maintain organized records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and route schedules for optimal efficiency
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring product placement aligns with company standards
- Drive commercial vehicles responsibly, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues professionally
- Apply organizational skills to plan daily routes, prioritize visits, and meet sales targets consistently
Experience
- Prior experience in sales or customer service roles is highly desirable; enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are essential
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and effective communication skills will set you apart
- Experience in route driving or commercial driving is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required
- Familiarity with merchandising practices and heavy lifting tasks is advantageous
- Military experience involving logistics or driving can be a valuable asset due to discipline and organizational skills
- Strong math skills are necessary for handling transactions, calculating prices, and managing inventory accurately
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and excellent customer interactions
