Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Broiler to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality meal service in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing culinary excellence and customer satisfaction. Previous experience in dietary departments, fine dining, or the food industry is highly valued. The Broiler will be responsible for preparing and cooking poultry dishes, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed, and assisting with menu execution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook broiler dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in menu planning and meal preparation for various dining settings
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support food service operations by preparing ingredients and garnishes as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals efficiently
- Utilize knife skills for portioning, slicing, and preparing ingredients
- Assist with catering events or special meal services as required
- Follow proper food safety protocols during all stages of food preparation and handling
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food presentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Flexibility to adapt to various culinary tasks and team collaboration skills
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
