Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Office Manager to lead our dental practice in Lehi, UT with enthusiasm and expertise. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of dental office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows
- Supervise staff members across clinical and administrative teams, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and expense control
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and state-specific health policies
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks to maintain accurate patient records and streamline documentation
- Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient management software and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for efficient care delivery
- Oversee medical billing processes, insurance claims, managed care procedures, and coding accuracy
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing patient concerns promptly and professionally
- Implement policies for medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and health regulation policies
- Lead human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, staff scheduling, and conflict resolution
Experience
- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice management with a strong background in medical office operations
- Supervising teams within a healthcare setting with demonstrated leadership skills in managing diverse staff roles
- Extensive knowledge of medical administrative support functions such as billing, coding, and compliance protocols
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare regulation policies including HIPAA and JCAHO standards
- Strong understanding of fiscal management principles including budgeting and financial oversight in a healthcare environment
- Prior clinic or hospital experience involving acute or critical care settings is advantageous but not required
- Excellent managerial communication skills paired with a customer service-oriented approach to patient interactions
