Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Data Entry & Customer Service Associate to join our operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping customers, and has exceptional organizational and time management skills.
As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will process customer orders, provide exceptional support by phone and email, coordinate with our delivery team, and help ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer orders received by phone and email.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service while assisting customers with questions, orders, and account inquiries.
- Communicate with drivers and internal departments to coordinate and expedite deliveries.
- Process returns and investigate customer issues, documenting findings to improve future operations.
- Print and prepare shipping labels and other order-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks using Microsoft Office applications.
- Organize files and documentation for quick and efficient retrieval.
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Excellent data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational, administrative, and time management abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and active listening skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Meat or food distribution industry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Schedule
Sunday – Thursday
2:00pm - 12:00am
Overtime may be required based on business needs.
