Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Handle retail sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively
- Experience with cashiering, retail sales transactions, or grocery store operations is advantageous
- Food industry experience including serving, bussing, or kitchen work is highly valued
Language: English/Chinese Mandarin/Spanish preferred
Pay: From $16.90 per hour
