Fine Dining Bartender – Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse
Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse, a premier upscale destination renowned for its signature Northern Italian cuisine, prime aged steaks, handmade pastas, exceptional wine list, and sophisticated bar program, is seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our team.
Position Overview We are looking for an experienced professional who excels in a refined, high-end environment, delivering impeccable service, crafting elevated cocktails, and elevating the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate is polished, knowledgeable, and dedicated to excellence in every detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a premium selection of classic and contemporary cocktails, Italian-inspired drinks, extensive wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and presentation
- Offer expert recommendations, including cocktail pairings with our seasonal menus featuring prime steaks, veal, seafood, and handmade pastas
- Provide warm, attentive, and personalized hospitality to guests at the bar and in collaboration with servers
- Maintain an impeccably clean, organized, and well-stocked bar, following strict sanitation and aesthetic standards
- Manage inventory, restock premium liquors/ingredients, and ensure proper storage and presentation
- Process transactions accurately, handle payments, and maintain balanced tills
- Work seamlessly with the kitchen and front-of-house teams during high-volume service periods
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and hospitality in an upscale Northern Italian steakhouse setting
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or high-end restaurant (upscale steakhouse, Northern Italian, or equivalent preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of classic and modern mixology, premium spirits, craft cocktails, extensive wine lists, and beer
- Demonstrated skill in creating and presenting beverages with consistency, flair, and attention to detail
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for guest satisfaction
- Strong multitasking and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Full availability required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and closing shifts
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or Massachusetts equivalent) preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and thrive in a dynamic setting
