Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team to support client CFOs and executive teams with high-impact financial analysis and insights.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and financial reporting to support decision-making processes and enhance investment strategies. Your analytical acumen and deep understanding of financial markets will empower our clients to make confident, data-driven decisions in complex financial environments.
This part-time, project-based role is ideal for former investment bankers or corporate finance professionals seeking flexible work with innovative companies.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain comprehensive financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, valuation, and decision-making.
- Analyze financial and business performance through the development of dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics that drive data-informed decision-making.
- Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to evaluate trends, identify growth opportunities, and provide insights that inform business planning & investment decisions.
- Support M&A activity including due diligence, data room management, and integration planning.
- Assist in preparing materials for board meetings, investor updates, and strategic planning.
- Work closely with client leadership teams to identify and evaluate financial and operational levers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Demonstrated excellence in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and business communication.
- Prior experience working with or within fast-paced, growth-stage companies preferred.
- Proficiency with Excel and comfortable with AI-based tools; familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Carta, or Asana is a plus.
- High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a client-facing environment.
Must Haves:
- Successful completion of a 2-year Analyst Program in Corporate Finance or M&A at a bulge bracket Wall Street firm.
- Exceptional analytical and modeling skills, with proven ability to support strategic finance initiatives.
Bonus Points:
- CFA designation or current candidacy
- Post-investment banking experience in industry, especially within operating companies
- Experience in software, manufacturing, and/or life sciences sectors

Pay: $140.00 - $160.00 per hour
