Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional patient service, managing front desk operations, and supporting chiropractic procedures. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage patient intake forms, update medical records, and verify insurance information
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits using the clinic’s scheduling system
- Assist chiropractors during patient assessments and treatments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including handling phone calls and correspondence
- Educate patients on procedures, answer general questions, and provide excellent patient service
- Use medical terminology accurately when documenting patient interactions and treatment notes
Requirements
- MUST HAVE UNDERSTANDING OF INSURANCE, INSURANCE VERIFICATION, AND BENEFIT EXPLANANTION
- Prior experience in patient service or healthcare settings is required
- Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle intake procedures efficiently and accurately
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
