Job Summary
The Outpatient Therapy Supervisor provides clinical leadership, supervision, and support for the Outpatient Therapy Program while maintaining a small clinical caseload. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered, recovery-oriented services through staff supervision, coaching, and adherence to regulatory, professional, and evidence-based practice standards. The Outpatient Therapy Supervisor collaborates with persons-served, staff, referral sources, community partners, and leadership to coordinate care, improve program quality, and achieve positive consumer outcomes. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, organization, and a commitment to empathy, accountability, continuous learning, and hope.
Duties
- Provide individual, group and family psychotherapy with persons served with diagnoses of mental illness, and/or substance use, and/or developmental disabilities, and/or pervasive developmental disabilities.
- Implement approaches of cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused, and motivational interviewing in psychotherapy.
- Conduct initial and annual psychosocial assessments to include diagnosis.
- Develop person-centered plans and service reviews.
- Maintain clinical record to agency expectations to include electronic records.
- Adhere to timelines with respect to client contracts and paperwork completion.
- Maintain authorizations for persons-served.
- Coordinate with agency psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, case manager, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide supervision and training to existing and new clinicians to include providing feedback and signing off on clinical documentation.
- Assign therapy referrals.
- Attend internal and external leadership meetings.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in area of person-centered planning, recipient rights, and diagnosis to include mental illness, substance use, developmental disabilities, severe emotional disturbances, and pervasive developmental disorders. Knowledge of crisis intervention. Knowledge and effective use of cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused, and motivational interviewing.

- Use of the computer to include Microsoft Word, email, internet, and electronic health records.
Education:
- Master's Degree in social work, psychology, Limited or full licensure.

Pay: $58,000.00 per year
