Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mowing Crew Member to join our landscaping team. This role involves maintaining outdoor spaces through mowing, lawn care, and landscape maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess basic mechanical knowledge, and be committed to delivering high-quality results in various environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in landscaping, horticulture, and equipment operation while contributing to the aesthetic appeal of our clients' properties. Candidate must have valid DL and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, trimming, and pruning
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners for planting and soil preparation
- Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming and pruning trees safely
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months as needed
- Maintain equipment through basic cleaning and routine maintenance checks
- Ensure safety procedures are followed during all outdoor activities
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Experience
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, landscaping equipment, or excavators is a plus
- Familiarity with construction or hardscape work is beneficial
- Experience with tree trimming, horticulture practices, or irrigation systems is advantageous
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including lifting heavy equipment or materials as needed

Pay: $20.00 - $28.58 per hour
