Role summary:
The (USA) Director, Merchandising Execution, leads the development and implementation of merchandising strategies to optimize inventory management and operational performance. This role oversees vendor relationships, inventory management, and financial planning to ensure alignment with business objectives. The Director drives cross-functional initiatives, supports talent development, and fosters a culture of integrity and continuous improvement. By analyzing business trends and customer needs, this position delivers actionable insights and executable programs that enhance store operations and contribute to sustained business growth.
About the team:
This team plays a vital role in executing the merchandising strategy within Lawn and Garden (D16/56), managing a seasonal business with committed and replenishable products. They oversee the full lifecycle from Buy Planning, Allocation, and Flow Planning to collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure efficient merchandise delivery to stores. By analyzing key performance indicators, the team guides the business toward financial objectives. Their planning and execution significantly impact seasonal results and provide valuable exposure to Merchandising, Store Operations, and Supply Chain functions, supporting operational excellence and business growth.
What you'll do:
- Manage inventory plans by analyzing projections, monitoring budgets, and approving markdown strategies to optimize category performance.

Lead execution of business plans by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and adjusting performance to meet objectives.

Develop and implement merchandising programs, communication platforms, and training content aligned with strategic priorities.

Manage vendor relationships and operational expenses to ensure financial and performance goals are met.

Analyze business objectives and customer needs to build support for strategies, evaluate processes, and identify improvement opportunities.

Foster talent development through recruitment, coaching, and succession planning to maintain a skilled workforce.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
