Production Line Supervisor
(Night Shift - Start Time 3:00pm)

Job Description
The production supervisor’s primary responsibility will be to oversee the line to ensure all products are packed safely and efficiently and maintain a sanitary environment which meets all food safety regulations. A Supervisor trains sets responsibilities and standards.
Key Responsibilities & Reporting Lines
The role of the Production Supervisor will be to work closely with Production operators, Production Supervisors, Production Quality Assurance Technicians, and Line Manager Technician to achieve our daily efficiency and quality goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Complies and enforces the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations

Evaluates each station of the production process to maintain optimum efficiency.

Ensures line is ready to start by completing daily checklist (Pre-Operation Checklist)

Oversees issues that may occur on the line and resolve them.

Monitors production process to ensure operators are following quality and food safety standards

Inspects product for quality and accuracy before shipping and
- Collects product samples to be evaluated

Requests production materials in a timely manner and ensures they are delivered as requested and used properly and efficiently.

Enters traceability in the computer system.

Ensures that employees are following required break and lunch times.

Communicates effectively with Managers and Employees
Essential Skills and Requirements:

Must be able to read and write in English and speak Spanish

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English

Ability to manage employees
- High level of maturity

Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.

Occasional seasonal overtime including possible 6-day work weeks

Must be able to stay overtime if needed

- Required use of PPE such as hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), safety shoes, face masks, and other safety equipment, as defined by company policy.
