We are seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Licensed Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. This position offers scheduling flexibility, clinical autonomy, and administrative support so you can focus on providing exceptional psychiatric care.
Position Summary
The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, medication management, and treatment planning for children, adolescents, and/or adults. The psychiatrist will collaborate closely with therapists, social workers, and other behavioral health professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of behavioral health conditions.
- Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychiatric medications.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs.
- Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up appointments.
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other treatment providers.
- Review laboratory findings and monitor medication side effects when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Complete documentation within required organizational and payer timeframes.
- Participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary treatment planning.
- Utilize telehealth technology when appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Pennsylvania regulations, DEA requirements, and professional standards.
QualificationsRequired
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency
- Active Pennsylvania Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- Active DEA Registration
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Preferred
- Experience in outpatient behavioral health
- Experience treating children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Experience with telepsychiatry
- Knowledge of insurance documentation and medical necessity requirements
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Pay: $197,469.98 - $237,813.31 per year
