Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils used in food preparation and service
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service hours to support smooth operations
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and station setup
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, and dishwashing areas to meet health and safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service needs
- Assist with catering events or banquet setups by providing clean tableware and assisting with light cleaning duties
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards at all times
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food service operations, including bussing, food handling, and basic kitchen processes
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with food preparation or banquet service is a plus but not mandatory
- A positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills to support culinary staff and fellow team members
