Wyoming Cardiopulmonary Services is seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Echo Technologist to join our growing cardiovascular team. We are the state's leading independent cardiology practice, providing comprehensive heart care throughout Wyoming. As an Echo Technologist, you'll work alongside experienced cardiologists and fellow sonographers, performing high-quality cardiac imaging in both our Casper clinic and outreach locations throughout the state.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality adult transthoracic echocardiograms
- Perform pediatric echocardiograms (as needed)
- Perform Stress Echocardiograms and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms
- Assist physicians during Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and intraoperative TEE procedures
- Accurately obtain and document patient histories, measurements, and test results
- Ensure image quality and complete studies according to established protocols
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and quality assurance standards
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide outstanding patient care
- Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards
- Participate in rotating coverage between clinic, outreach, and hospital locations
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Sonography or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI, or registry eligible
- Current BLS Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a collaborative team
Preferred
- One or more years of echocardiography experience
- Experience performing Stress Echo and Dobutamine Stress Echo studies
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT/RVS) certification or willingness to cross-train
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and valvular heart disease
- Proficiency with digital cardiovascular ultrasound equipment
- Ability to accurately acquire diagnostic-quality images
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Strong patient care and customer service skills
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients
Work Locations
This position rotates between:
- Wyoming Cardiopulmonary Services – Casper Clinic
- Banner Wyoming Medical Center
- Outreach clinics throughout Wyoming
Travel to outreach clinics is part of the position.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39.00–$58.00 per hour (depending on experience and credentials)
Pay: $39.00 - $50.00 per hour
