Foundations Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Manager of Education to support our Doylestown, PA campus.
This position is eligible for a $17,500 commitment bonus!
Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment to children, and adolescents, and young adults with autism, intellecutal disabilities, and challenging behaviors. Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides behavioral health inpatient and residential treatment on a 12 acre campus in Bucks County, PA.
The Nurse Manager of Education:
- Conducts nursing staff orientation
- Ensures nursing department staff competencies, CPR, licensing, etc. are up to date through tracking, scheduling, and providing training
- Conducts skills fair
- Keeps training calendar
- Develops and updates training materials
- Individual and group staff training and retraining
- Monitors med tech program
- Performs CPR certifications and recertifications
- Tracks and organizes psychiatric and medical code drills according to policy
- Assists with planning nursing week and organizing Daisy and Tulip awards
- Manage payroll and scheduling for new nurses
- Assist with performance evaluations and providing feedback to nursing department employees

Position Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a nurse educator.
- 1 year of behavioral health nursing experience required.
- BSN required, master's in nursing/education/ related field strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills, experience with EHR systems
- Excellent organization skills
- Primarily Monday–Friday day shift, monthly evening and overnight/early morning hours will be required to conduct trainings across shifts.
- Weekend on call required a few times a year.
- CPR trainer certification currently or within 60 days of hire.
- Active Pennsylvania (or multi-state) RN license.
