GOLF SHOP ATTENDANT
Reports To: Golf Professional/Assistant Golf Professional

Status Type: Part-Time, Hourly
Salary: $15 per hour
Schedule: Preference will be given to applicants with availability to work 6 am - 3 pm or 12 noon to close.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Golf Shop Attendant position will work with the Professional Staff in managing the daily golf operations. This position is integral in ensuring an exceptional member experience through effective booking and management of tee times, along with being the welcoming presence in the Golf Shop. The Golf Shop Attendant will demonstrate a commitment to delivering the highest level of service to the membership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Member and Guest Relations:
- Provide outstanding customer service, anticipating the needs of members and guests.
- Educate members on golf policies, etiquette, and available services.
- Stay informed on club activities and services, promoting them to members to enhance their overall experience.
Merchandising:
- Assist in receiving, pricing and displaying merchandise.
- Support the promotion and sales of merchandise and golf equipment.
- Assist in providing club repair services.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Minimum age: 16
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in golf operations or customer service is preferred but not required.
COMPETENCIES
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and members alike.
- Experience in merchandising, inventory control, and sales of golf products and equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
