Mosquito Joe of the Bluegrass is hiring a reliable, motivated Pest Control Technician to service residential and commercial properties in the Lexington area. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up consistently, and enjoys working independently.
We’re not looking for just anyone—we want someone who represents the brand well, communicates clearly with customers, and takes ownership of their route.
What You’ll Do
- Perform mosquito, flea, tick, and general pest treatments on scheduled routes
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site
- Operate and maintain spray equipment and company vehicle
- Follow all safety guidelines and application procedures
- Document services and notes in mobile software (ServeSuite Mobile)
- Upsell services when appropriate (training provided)
- Manage your route efficiently and stay on schedule
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and reliability (non-negotiable)
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, humidity, and varying weather
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Must be comfortable using a smartphone for apps and routing
- Pest control experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: based on experience
- Performance bonuses and sales incentives

Additional Requirements
- Must pass background check
- Must be able to obtain KY Department of Agriculture licensing (company assists)
