Perform comprehensive assessments and management of gastroenterology patients

Develop treatment plans in collaboration with GI physicians and specialty teams

Manage inpatient and/or outpatient GI patient care across the continuum
-
Coordinate diagnostics, procedures, follow-up care, and patient education

Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based clinical initiatives

Serve as a clinical resource and mentor within the APP team

Certified Physician Assistant with active Maryland licensure (or eligibility)

Prior gastroenterology, internal medicine, hospital medicine, or specialty care experience preferred

Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage medically complex patients

Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient education skills

Passion for academic medicine and advancing high-quality patient care
