Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload items from trucks or trailers, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Drive vehicles along designated routes to transport goods to various locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the moving process.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
- Assist in packing and unpacking items for clients, ensuring all belongings are organized and secure.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and moving vehicles.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in moving, courier services, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to follow schedules effectively.
- Must be physically fit and capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- A commitment to safety practices while on the job.
- Can show up on time and ready to begin the work day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
