Position Summary:
The Staffing Specialist is a motivated and detail-oriented team member who supports branch recruitment and operational activities. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, organizational ability, and willingness to learn and grow within the staffing industry. The Staffing Specialist works closely with branch management (e.g. Staffing Manager, Business Development Manager) to support the hiring, placement, and management processes of temporary workers.
Responsibilities:
· Welcomes and assists job seekers in the branch. Professionally navigates language barriers as necessary.
· Assists in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
· Answer phone calls, manages voicemails, and responds to emails in a timely manner.
· Facilitates end-to-end recruitment processes with oversight from branch leadership. Processes include but are not limited to sourcing and evaluating candidates, drug testing, running background checks, processing E-Verify, and onboarding candidates.
· Maintains an active pipeline of candidates to meet workforce needs.
· Builds and maintains positive relationships with job seekers and clients through professional communication and excellent customer service.
· Resolves routine employee issues related to attendance, performance, and payroll. Escalates complex issues to management as necessary.
· Ensures client satisfaction efforts by ensuring timely placements and follow-ups.
· Processes weekly payroll for branch in a timely manner with accuracy and efficiency.
· Conducts basic market research and assists in identifying potential business opportunities and sales leads.
· Supports compliance-related activities such as maintaining employee records and documentation.
· Travels to client sites or other branches as needed for employee check-ins, shift coverage, and operational support.
· Verifies completion of all assigned tasks prior to leaving office daily. Ensures branch is secured before leaving the premises. Works beyond typical operating hours as business needs require.

Work Environment:
This role is on-site only. The Staffing Specialist will work in tandem with branch management and facilitate office operations independently. Typical operating hours are 8AM – 5PM, Monday through Friday. This role requires reliable transportation and ability to work beyond typical operating hours as business needs require.
