Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in multiple districts near Saint Louis, MO, as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This full-time role offers the chance to make a sincere impact at schools in the Hazelwood, Jennings, and Ferguson Florissant areas, with minimal travel required as you support students close by. You’ll work across a range of settings—Hazelwood and Jennings serving all age groups, and Ferguson Florissant focusing primarily on elementary students.
Ideal candidates will hold their professional SLP license and be comfortable supporting a diverse student caseload. The position welcomes both Clinical Fellows (CF) and those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid professional SLP license in Missouri
- CF or CCC credential (welcome both levels of experience)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently across nearby school sites
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Completion of all required pre-employment screenings, including fingerprints and drug screen
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned students across multiple campuses
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain compliance with IEP and district guidelines
- Collaborate as part of multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Adapt therapeutic strategies across various educational environments
This contract is scheduled for the 2026-2027 academic year, with a start in late August and completion in late May (dates may adjust slightly per campus needs). Flexible “prescreen” interview times are available to fit your schedule.
