ABOUT THE ROLE
WarmUp.ai is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-owned manufacturing company in Evansville, Indiana. Our client supplies industrial and commercial customers across several markets and has operated in the Evansville area for decades under continuous family ownership.
They are rebuilding their sales organization and hiring a Business Development Representative to lead new business development.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Identify and research new business opportunities across target markets
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers
- Qualify opportunities and hand them off to the sales team
- Maintain consistent follow-up through long sales cycles
- Work from provided target lists, scripts, dialer, and CRM
The internal technical team handles execution once a program is awarded, so your focus stays on new business.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience
- Strong phone skills and professional communication
- Persistence and comfort with rejection
- Willingness to learn a technical product
- Able to work on site in Evansville, IN
Preferred:
- Experience selling to manufacturing or industrial customers
- Technical or engineering background
Industry experience helps, but communication skills, professionalism and coachability matter more. Our client is prepared to train the right candidate on the technical side.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $80,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience
- Year-end bonus based on company performance
- 401(k) with 3% employer contribution regardless of employee deferral, plus 3% match
- Health insurance
- Paid vacation, 2 to 3 weeks to start
IMPORTANT: THIS ROLE IS FULLY SALARIED

WORK LOCATION
This position is fully on site in Evansville, Indiana. Our client is an in-person organization and does not offer hybrid or remote work for this role.
Anticipated start: Fall 2026
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
