Lizzy's Jewelry & Loan is a small, family-owned Jewelry store and Pawnshop with three stores based in Marysville, WA. We are customer-centric, social, and creative. Our company is seeking an experienced Jeweler to handle repairs such as sizing, soldering chains, re-tipping prongs, rhodium plate, etc. in our Marysville location.
Qualifications
- Basic Jewelry repair knowledge
- At least 1 year of Bench Jeweler (or other relevant) experience working with precious metals
- Must be able to effectively manage deadlines
- Perform basic computer skills
- Ability to pass a drug test and Background Check
- Maintain confidentiality
- Education Level: High School Diploma/ GED Required
Responsibilities
- Perform precision tasks like soldering, re-tipping prongs, replacing broken clasps, and resizing rings
- Secure diamonds and gemstones into various mounts (e.g., prong, bezel, pavé, or channel settings)
- File, smooth, polish, and steam-clean jewelry to meet high quality and aesthetic standards
- Provide product knowledge, features, and benefits to all customers when presenting merchandise
- Advise customers on quality, cuts, and value of jewelry and gems and assist in selecting mountings and settings for gems
- Attend company meetings
- Operate point of sale (POS) and take payments
- Inspect and clean customer's jewelry
- Provide estimates for jewelry repairs
- Follow receiving and processing procedures
- Maintain safety and security of location by following all Loss Prevention and Security policies and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
