Compensation Details
Earn between $32 and $38 per hour, depending on your experience level. This role offers a consistent schedule of 68 hours per week, which includes 28 hours of guaranteed overtime.
Role Overview
We are looking for skilled Instrumentation & Controls Technicians to contribute to a major data center construction and commissioning initiative. You will play a vital role in the installation, calibration, and startup of facility control systems, including HVAC, cooling, and process monitoring. Your work will ensure that critical data center infrastructure is fully operational and integrated.
Key Requirements
Successful applicants will demonstrate significant field experience with Siemens PLC systems, device termination, loop verification, and the ability to accurately interpret complex technical schematics.
Daily Responsibilities

Connect control and instrumentation wiring at junction boxes, panels, and various field devices.

Execute the installation and wiring of field instrumentation, such as flow meters, temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, control valves, and monitoring equipment.

Analyze and utilize technical documentation including electrical schematics, loop drawings, P&IDs, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.

Contribute to the successful commissioning of data center control systems.

Conduct point-to-point testing and verify loops to ensure system accuracy.

Identify and resolve wiring faults, communication errors, and signal inconsistencies.

Confirm that all devices function correctly during the startup and commissioning phases.

Facilitate Siemens PLC integration and perform field I/O checkout to support system reliability.

Collaborate with engineering and commissioning staff to address and rectify system deficiencies.

Maintain accurate records of field modifications and redlines to assist with engineering updates.

Help maintain a safe and high-quality working environment by ensuring all installations meet project standards.
Technical Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an Instrumentation & Controls Technician.

Proven expertise in field device termination.

Practical experience working with Siemens PLC and control platforms.

Demonstrated ability to perform loop checks and provide commissioning support.

Proficiency in interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.

Experience in calibrating and troubleshooting industrial instrumentation.

Knowledge of low-voltage control systems.

Background in mission-critical, industrial, or data center settings is highly desirable.
