This role is perfect for an early riser who enjoys setting the tone for the day and who can outshine our brand-new kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment, supported by leadership that believes in teamwork, respect, and bringing heart back to hospitality.

About the Role:
The Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing and executing our breakfast offerings for both hotel guests and restaurant diners. This role ensures timely production, consistent quality, polished presentation, and smooth morning operations. You’ll also oversee the DoubleTree Cookie Program and contribute to our Grab & Go production, playing a key role in the overall guest experience.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare breakfast menu items following standardized recipes and presentation standards
Set up, maintain, restock, and break down breakfast service stations
Execute both à la carte and buffet breakfast programs
Monitor food quality, portioning, temperature, and timing with attention to detail
Support breakfast banquets, group events, and buffet setups as needed
Bake and execute the beloved DoubleTree Cookie Program with consistency and care
Produce and maintain fresh items for our Grab & Go program
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment at all times
Communicate clearly and professionally with front-of-house and kitchen leadership
Assist with prep lists, inventory awareness, labeling, dating, and proper product rotation
Support dishwashing and kitchen cleanliness as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient morning operation.
What We’re Looking For:
Breakfast cooking experience preferred (hotel or restaurant experience a plus)
Strong sense of urgency and organization in a fast-paced morning environment
Team-first mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed
Dependability and punctuality for early morning shifts
