Overview
We are seeking a skilled Local Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in hauling double hoppers. This role involves delivering goods efficiently and safely while ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailer double hoppers
- Navigate assigned routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of freight
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policy
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered during routes
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Experience
- Three years experience preferred, two years required
- Doubles/Triples endorsement required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
