Job Purpose – PRN / Temporary Position
The Veterinary Front Office position at HIRE INTRODUCTION LLC, a temporary staffing solutions agency, provides essential administrative support and exceptional customer service in various veterinary practice settings. This is a PRN or temporary assignment-based role, not a permanent position.
The role is vital to the smooth operation of the front office, facilitating effective communication between clients and veterinary staff, managing scheduling, and maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about services offered.
- Maintain client records and update information as needed to ensure accuracy.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage financial transactions related to services rendered.
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front office area.
- Address and resolve client concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations concerning client information.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional certification in office administration or veterinary assistance is a plus.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital front office setting preferred.
- Experience with scheduling appointments and managing office communications.
- Familiarity with veterinary software systems is preferred.
