Dynamic Quest is seeking a highly skilled Tier 3 Engineer (T3 Engineer) to provide advanced technical support and engineering expertise across client environments. This position requires a U.S. Citizen due to contractual, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including support of federal and regulated clients.
The T3 Engineer will monitor, manage, and support client technologies, business systems environments, and operational processes using Dynamic Quest tools and systems. This role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, systems analysis, and engineering support across networking, servers, security, and cloud environments. The position provides advanced escalation support with a strong emphasis on server infrastructure, security controls, Microsoft 365, Azure, and advanced network troubleshooting.

CMMC & SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
This role supports clients subject to CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification), NIST 800-171, CJIS, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks.
The T3 Engineer must:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Required:

7+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure at scale.

Cloud Expertise: Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform, including fundamental services like Virtual Networks, Compute, Storage Accounts, and Azure DevOps services.

VDI Platform Experience: Hands-on experience supporting and managing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including Host Pool management and basic FSLogix knowledge, with direct operational experience using and automating via the Nerdio Manager platform.

Observability Tools: Proven, hands-on experience configuring and managing platforms like LogicMonitor, as well as Azure-native tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Networking: Strong understanding of Azure Networking fundamentals, including VNets, NSGs, and familiarity with Azure VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute concepts for enterprise connectivity.

File/Print Services: Familiarity with Azure storage solutions (e.g., Azure Files, Windows Server File and print Services) and modern print services like Azure Universal Print.

Storage Networks: Extensive experience in configuring, scoping, and maintaining both SAN and NAS device (on premise or cloud) .

Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and basic familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) concepts (Pods, Deployments, Services).

Programming: Foundational scripting and automation skills in Python or Bash along with Azure runbooks.

Perform escalated troubleshooting of performance, connectivity, and infrastructure problems

Manage and review support queues to ensure proper prioritization and resolution
Project & Engineering Support

Provide technical support for projects including scoping, engineering, and execution
