Life 1 Trucking LLC is a growing Detroit-based carrier running dedicated Amazon contract freight. We are adding trucks and hiring 6+ CDL-A drivers over the next 60 days. You will not be one of 4,000 driver codes at a mega-carrier — the owner knows every driver's name.
The work:
- Dedicated Amazon contract blocks — same freight, every week, scheduled in advance
- Drop-and-hook at Amazon facilities — no dock work, no lumpers
- Consistent weekly schedule — you know your blocks ahead of time, not dispatch roulette
- Home every other day — typically out one night, home the next
- Some blocks run nights and weekends — we are upfront about that
- Late-model Freightliners
Pay:
- $1,900–$2,000/week (≈$95,000–$104,000/year)
- $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid in installments
- Weekly direct deposit — no pay games
- $500 referral bonus for every driver you bring us who stays 90 days
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 or older (federal interstate requirement)
- 2+ years tractor-trailer experience preferred — less experience considered with a clean record
- Clean MVR — no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years, no suspensions in the last 3
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and FMCSA Clearinghouse query
- Must pass Amazon's standardized background check (required on all Amazon freight)
- Comfortable with in-cab identity verification (CDL + selfie check on Amazon loads)
