CDL-A Truck Driver (Reefer Routes) Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to run dedicated reefer routes. If you have solid manual transmission experience and a strong background in DOT/FMCSA safety standards, we want to hear from you.
Compensation & Pay Structure
- Guaranteed Pay: $1,200/week guaranteed
- Mileage Rate: $0.65 per mile (CPM)
- Weekly Mileage: Roughly 2,000 miles per week
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of commercial truck driving experience.
- Equipment: Must be proficient in driving a 13-speed or 18-speed manual transmission.
- Route & Cargo Operations: Demonstrated experience running reefer routes and proficiency with drop and hook operations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA safety regulations, hours of service (HOS), and compliance standards.
- License: Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate manual 13-speed or 18-speed tractor-trailers on assigned reefer routes.
- Perform efficient drop-and-hook procedures at designated yards and customer facilities.
- Ensure refrigerated loads are properly monitored and maintained at required temperatures during transit.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance.
- Keep accurate driver logs in accordance with DOT and FMCSA rules.
Pay: $31.78 - $38.28 per hour
