Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Home Care Aide to provide exceptional support to clients in a home and community setting. This position is scheduled exclusively on Sundays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, disability support, and home health services, demonstrating a commitment to promoting independence, safety, and well-being.
Client Care Needs:
- Assistance with transfers to and from a wheelchair
- Standby assistance at all times due to high fall risk
- Incontinence care and personal hygiene assistance
- Support with glucose monitoring for diabetes management
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Companionship and safety supervision
Requirements:
- Experience providing personal care and transfers
- Comfortable with lifting and mobility assistance
- Experience working with diabetic clients preferred
- Reliable, patient, and attentive to safety
- Current Home Care Aide registration (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver's license preferred, but driving is not required for this case
