We assist our clients with complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters mainly in the life scienc es and biotechnology industry. We also assist our clients with the accounting and financial reporting implications of complex transactions, including debt and equity financings, revenue and collaboration agreements, and filings with the SEC.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing accounting advisory and forensic accounting services and other analytical skills to various client situations.
What You’ll Do
- Perform day-to-day activities of projects including interaction with client personnel, other team members, and professionals from other firms involved in accounting advisory and forensic and litigation consulting engagements
- Perform technical accounting and financial analysis and assist clients with analyzing and documenting complex investigative issues
- Organize information to facilitate effective data access and analysis
- Perform technical accounting research utilizing online tools and publicly available information, assist in preparing rep orts and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties, and develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
- Apply accounting, financial and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines, such as detailed reviews of financial statements and underlying accounting records and the application of GAAP
- Maintain detailed working paper records of reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks
- Prepare draft written analyses and other reports for third parties, as necessary, on the project scope and/or results of activities

What You Will Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with an emphasis in accounting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements
- 3+ years of technical accounting and audit experience, experience at a large multinational.
- Ability to travel occasionally based on client need
- This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
- Certified Public Accountant or foreign equivalent

Compensation
Minimum Pay: $69,000
Maximum Pay:$176,000
Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual’s location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
Pay: $115,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year
