Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, highly professional Handyman to handle a wide variety of residential repair, maintenance, and light construction tasks. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, takes pride in their workmanship, and can confidently interact with homeowners.
Responsibilities
- Perform general handyman tasks including:
- Carpentry, drywall, painting
- Light electrical & plumbing
- Door, trim, and hardware installations
- Flooring repairs, caulking, and other small projects
- Diagnose issues and recommend solutions
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Interact professionally with clients and represent the company’s values
- Travel to multiple job sites across Northern NJ
- Provide accurate time and material estimates when needed
Requirements
- 5–10 years of hands-on handyman or construction experience
- Must be professional, reliable, and customer-focused
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be motivated—this role is part of a new, fast-growing company with room for advancement
- Comfortable using basic technology (phone apps for scheduling, photos, notes)
