Job Purpose: This position is tasked with keeping the common areas in both facilities clean and in orderly condition for all staff and keep supplies and janitorial storage area organized.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, clean furniture and fixtures, etc.
· Follow the cleaning schedule to maintain the cleanliness of common areas in both facilities
· Monitor and control supplies for janitorial duties and communicates with Maintenance Supervisor when supplies need ordered
· Maintain neat and organized work areas
· Provide cleaning, sanitation, and general upkeep of office areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and kitchens on a daily basis, following cleaning schedules
· Complete other janitorial tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
· Ability to communicate with all levels of management
· Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks
· Ability to read and interpret cleaning schedules as needed.
· Must possess a strong reliability to clean, sanitize, and be organized in a timely manner
· Ability to work additional hours on occasion if possible
· Active listening and strong attention to detail
Working Conditions: Able to work in hot and cold environments. Possible exposure and contact with blood borne pathogens and bodily fluids. Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting up to 30 pounds, Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
Occasional lifting over 50 pounds with assistance
Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and handling/operation of cleaning tools, such as mop, bucket, vacuum, dusters, etc
Safety glasses and ear plugs as required in production area
Must be able to work in hot or cold temperatures
Hours: 6:00 AM-11:00 AM
Pay: $17.00 per hour
